«What is CranioSacral Therapy (CST)?»
CST is a holistic gentle manual method for the examination and treatment of the craniosacral system. This system consists of the cerebrospinal fluid and the membranes, which protect the brain and spinal cord. It extends from the skull and facial bones (cranium) along the spine to the sacrum and coccyx.
Since this vital system influences the development and functioning of the brain and spinal cord, an imbalance can cause a number of sensory, motor or neurological disorders. The consequences are often sensory and motor disorders accompanied by chronic pain, disorders of the immune and endocrine systems, often accompanied by emotional disorders.
Using a soft touch, restrictions are released deep in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system to relieve pain, stress and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance.
By normalizing the environment around the brain and spinal cord and enhancing the body’s ability to self-correct, CranioSacral Therapy is able to alleviate a wide variety of dysfunctions, from chronic pain and sports injuries to stroke and neurological impairment.
How many CranioSacral Therapy sessions will I need?
Response to CST varies from individual to individual and condition to condition. Your response is uniquely your own and can’t be compared to anyone else’s – even those cases that may appear to be similar to your own. The number of sessions needed varies widely – from just one up to three or more a week over the course of several weeks.

Throughout my downhill skateboard racing career I regularly utilized natural medicine to quickly recover from injury or proactively to maintain health. With the move from Canada to Switzerland in 2015 I arrived with a goal to build a life where I could share with others my passions in sport, health and nutrition.
For me this meant living out my dreams to build “nÿcha kombucha”, a beverage company brewing fermented tea, and enrolling at the HPS, Luzern to become a therapist in natural medicine. Quickly I found CranioSacral Therapy which moved me with a drive I knew well as world champion in my sport. My focus became clear: to guide others to vitality through this deeply restorative holistic method for people to become, or after injury, be again their absolute best.
